From the beginning, African music and our African sister choirs have represented a deeply emotional touchstone for our organization. Proceeds from this concert will support Kokopelli’s African Projects Fund. Featuring guest artists Essi Vuorela (Finland) and Jennifer Moir (London, Ontario).
Òran is thrilled to be singing in the warm little community of Irma, Alberta!
Guest artist Allison Girvan (Nelson, BC) joins Kokopelli, Òran, Kikimasu, and Shumayela as they present musical stories from around the world.
Excited to be preparing a mini-chorus for this fun concert featuring the music of Dreamworks Animation!
It’s a choir crawl! Back by popular demand, this concert takes you on a freeform journey between little-known Edmonton church venues along our city’s historic Church Street (96 St), ending with a raucous massed-choir African singalong in the park.
Vacilando and Òran, Kokopelli’s adult ensembles, breathe glorious life into music that too often goes unheard in our society. This program features works composed by women and people of colour.
This emotional program explores movement in many ways – physical, emotional, and even generational. Kokopelli and Òran will be joined by Kikimasu and Shumayela.
